A chemical peel involves the application of chemical solutions to the skin in a controlled manner, producing controlled tissue death.
As the damage is repaired by the natural healing process, the skin appearance is improved
A chemical peel solution is applied to the face to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new cells. The aim is to improve the appearance of the skin – for example, by reducing age spots and evening out skin tone. There are 3 types of peels, called superficial, medium and deep.
At Skinlogix we offer a variety of skin peels for all skin types and concerns.
Most ZO peels have no down time also known as Red-Carpet Peel. For someone looking for a more pronounced result for skin concerns such as acne or pigmentation and don’t mind having some downtime can opt for a Dermaquest or Mesoestetic peel which are stronger.
You can have a free consultation and advice from our experts to provide you with guidance to choose the right treatment/peel for you. If required, our doctors can provide a TCA or ZO 3 step peel for you.
